On today’s blog post, God intends to expose the methods in which Satan hinders, robs, and destroys the blessing of an unsuspecting believer.
I urge you to pay attention to this life-transforming information that holds the key to a sustained life of victory.
Before we proceed, it is pertinent that we understand the workings of the Devil in order to counterattack and overcome him.
One of the strongest ways the Devil attacks Christians is by creating an autoimmune deficiency. This means to create a situation where such a believer functions against himself.
For example, a practical situation of the body fighting itself. The Bible says a house divided against itself cannot stand.
In the same way, when we do things that sabotage our destinies, we help the enemy achieve his evil determinations over our lives.
Here are some of the things that give the enemy room to rob an unsuspecting Christian:
1. ANGER:
Anger is one of the tools the Devil uses to deceive Christians into losing out on God’s divine plan and purpose.
Through anger, a Christian can be disqualified from entering the Promised Land just like Moses.
The Bible says flee from an angry man, and in the same vein, the Holy Spirit flees from a Christian who acts, dwells, and lives in anger.
An angry person can never birth the purposes of God. Instead, their lives will constantly bring reproach to God and themselves.
2. PRIDE:
Another way the Devil stops a Christian from becoming the great man the Lord has ordained is by pride.
Just like the Devil, pride can make one fall out of favor and the glory of God. There is an uncanny relationship between pride and downfall, and everyone who has walked in pride, arrogance, or ego cannot deny it.
God says He resists the proud and gives grace to the humble, which begs the question you must answer:
Can you walk in the reality of victory and success when God Himself is resisting you?
A word is enough for the wise.
3. OFFENSE AND HURT:
This is another heartbreaking way the Devil robs Christians. The Devil will manipulate a situation to offend a Christian in the worst possible way.
This he does in order to cause the unsuspecting Christian to walk in unforgiveness.
Sometimes, the Devil does this in the body of Christ by turning Christians against each other, then goes on to accuse them of malice and unforgiveness before the presence of God.
Sometimes, as a result of offense and hurt, a child of God walks out of God’s promise and purpose.
4. IMPATIENCE:
This is another strong access point through which the Devil programs Christians to work against themselves.
The Devil will light up an unnatural obsession with speed and fill such a Christian with the need to get ahead of oneself and God.
When the Devil succeeds in sending you on a speeding vehicle without brakes, it becomes a disaster waiting to happen.
The Bible says that those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength. This is because in the time of waiting, there is a tendency toward weakness, which the Devil tends to capitalize on to stir up ungodly speed and impatience in the life of an unsuspecting Christian.
This is a good reason you must be vigilant and carefully examine yourselves to ensure you are not working with the devil to sabotage your own destiny.
May the Lord help us to overcome the attacks of the enemy and lead us to our expected end in Jesus’ name.
Yet to give your life to Jesus Christ?
Say this prayer and mean it from the depth of your heart:
“Almighty God, I come before You in the name of Jesus. Lord, I confess that I am a sinner and ask for Your mercy.”
“I pray that You cancel my name from the book of death and write my name in the book of life. Give me power to sin no more and grace to live a Christian life.”
“I decree that the yoke of sin is broken over my life, and I accept Jesus into my life as Lord and Savior.”
“I am a child of God.”
