Do you want to take your prayer to the next level?
Do you want to build capacity in the spirit and enter a new era of prayer and supplication?
Pray in the Spirit!
In today’s blog post, I will be outlining the ways you can connect yourself and launch into the deeper realms of prayer by the Spirit.
I pray that God grants us wisdom and grace to obtain light from today’s teaching as well as command enviable results, in Jesus’ name.

1. IMPARTATION OF THE WORD –
The first step to entering into deeper realms of prayer is the impartation of the Word of God.
A lot of Christians do not see the act of praying in tongues as important or necessary. Some are very closed off to the idea or thought of it, which makes it impossible for them to walk in the experience of that dimension of prayer.
Any child of God who wants to access the grace of praying in the Spirit must go through a teaching priest, who would teach you the full counsel of God regarding praying in the Spirit.
This is because the Word of God is a sharp sword that can break through even the toughest heart and bring it to the obedience of Christ.
When a teaching priest rightfully imparts such Christian with the knowledge and study of God’s words through structured teachings, it opens such believer to the possibility of experiencing deeper realms of prayer moving forward.
Such believer will be armed with the knowledge-based keys that will in time open the doors to a realm of deep and effective prayer and supplication in the Spirit.
When such believer submit themselves to the sound teaching and study of the Word, meditating on the topic of prayer, they don’t just gain knowledge, but by so doing, water the ground for a seed to be sown.
2. SOW A SEED OF DESIRE –
The second step, after opening your heart, learning Scripture-based knowledge and truths around the topic of praying in the Spirit, you must go ahead and sow a seed.
That seed is desire.
God has made us free moral agents, which means we must register our will before He does anything with, for, and through us.
As a result, we must come to Him in prayers, verbalizing our desire to experience the grace of praying in the Spirit.
You must register your desire by continual prayers, backed up with Scriptures, until that grace lands upon your life.
3. CONNECT TO A CORPORATE ANOINTING/GRACE.
The third step you must take in order to enter the realm of praying in the Spirit is to connect to a corporate anointing.
This means that you should draw close to God and the body of Christ, never miss fellowships, prayer meetings, vigils, stretches, etc.
Iron sharpens iron, and one thing you must know is that two is better than one. When you go to the church and identify with a church, the grace of God upon the church will help you and quicken the process, as opposed to journeying alone.
It is better to be in the house of God with people regularly than deciding to go rogue.
For some people, they were gifted the grace to speak in other tongues through the laying of hands, and fellowship.
Including the disciples on the day of Pentecost. They prayed in one accord and when the spirit came, he opened the gate for a deeper realm of prayer and supplication.
4. BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST –
The final step and way is through the baptism of the Holy Ghost. You cannot pray in the Spirit without the Spirit of God.
The Holy Spirit is the difference and the person assigned by God to usher us into His presence. We cannot ignore the ministry of the Holy Ghost.
And when the Spirit is come, that grace shall be given to us. The first step to knowing and having the Spirit of God is through genuine repentance and confession of Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
When we forsake our sins and truly serve God in truth and in spirit, only then can we truly have a relationship with God which will spur every other Christian experience.
Yet to give your life to Christ? Say this prayer and mean it from the depth of your heart:
“Almighty God, I come before You in the name of Jesus. Lord, I confess that I am a sinner and ask for Your mercy.”
“I pray that You cancel my name from the book of death and write my name in the book of life. Give me power to sin no more and grace to live a Christian life.”
“I decree that the yoke of sin is broken over my life, and I accept Jesus into my life as Lord and Savior.”
“I am a child of God.”
