God is waiting for you!

There are many things which compete for our time and attention with God.

In this busy world with seemingly limitless possibilities, we tend to prioritize other things and put God last. In most situations, God is not involved.

The blog post for today expresses God’s wish for us to have an intentional relationship with him. No matter what, we have to put God first and resist the devil. God should always take priority. (Matthew 6:33)

God has told us in Scripture that if we acknowledge him, he will direct our paths. (Proverbs 3:6) God’s presence in everything we do transforms us into victorious Christians. (John 15:5)

Take the example of a newborn child. During their formative years, that child is completely reliant on their parent(s); such a child requires the presence of their guardian to eat, bathe, and enjoy a decent standard of living.

Similarly, we are expected to depend on God for everything. We must always turn to him, knowing he is the author and finisher of our fate. (Hebrews 12:2) When we have this knowledge, seeking God becomes a deliberate action. A daily practice and lifestyle.

We begin to see our lives, create schedules, and make commitments with God at the center of everything. We plan our days with him and seek his approval and opinion in everything we do.

For some of us, this is a direct message from God. We need to rearrange our lives and establish a new routine. We must let God take the lead. We must carve out time from our never-ending schedules to fellowship and love on him.

Only then will we be able to realize the full potential that he has bestowed upon us.

May the Lord grant us grace and help us to seek him always, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
